Have any of you guys run a compression test on your 180 engines?
I am looking for test results to compare.... any info is appreciated

Just found my results from an old post

cylinder 1: 148psi, 2: 150psi, 3: 152psi, 4: 150psi

MATHS LESSON-NO FEE...
180+166+179+165÷4=172.5average psi
172.5÷100=1.725 so 1%=1.725 ×10=17.25
So 10%=17.25psi

Range of 10% MEANS between 180(upper limit)
And (180-17.25or-10%of avg. So 162.75)162.75(lower limit)is ok here...so between 180 and 162.75psi is serviceable,so yours,going off your readings should be fine..phew!!!

glad you don't charge by the hour........... these figures were gained with the butterflies closed on the ITB`s...... I can only assume the variation will be slightly closer with full opening on the throttle. But I am glad you agree they are serviceable Cool
