Hi there, I own a 180 and recently had an annoying knocking coming from the drivers side rear, so jacked the car up today and pulled around and the only thing I could see to be the cause was the ARB? The 2 bars that connect to the Axle and the hub. I removed both of them lowered the car and took it for a test drive, all seems to be okay the knocking has gone, is there any drawback to removing them? And will I be able to buy new bushes or will 2 new bars be the easiest way.

Thanks dan

I had a knocking on my old 180, would have Put every penny I had on it being the back, had every bush on the back changed etc, went for MOT, had a £12 front droplink changed and hey presto knocking was gone! I genuinely believed it was coming from the back! Just a thought......

Cheers I'll check the droplinks to see if there's any play in them, I might just put new 1s on to rule out any front knocks

It's worth it mate, I spent a couple hundred on the back, £12 on the front fixed it lol
