I've got quite a big problem, when the garage attempted to do my clutch few weeks ago, they put my wheels on with air gun, and done locking nut with them too, and rounded the pins of the stud now rhe key spins on it, tried hammering a socket with no luck just the top off, I'm really stuck for what to do

use a smaller socket maybe!

May need a nut being welded onto it and a long breaker bar to get it off. This is what happened to me too but in my efforts to get it off it sheared off and I had to get it welded off!! Garage I took mine to seemed to get alot of jobs like that, so done it fairly quick and protected the wheels too!

You can buy a 'top thingy' Sorry can't remember what they're called, anyway this bites onto broken nut bolts and then use a socket set wrench to get broken one out.
This happened to me on old wheel locking nuts, as the locking wheel key one was not in the 206 GTi when I bought it. The garage that got the old locking wheel nuts off did this in no time at all.

Yeah thats exactly what mine looked like when it sheared off!!
Just make sure where you go they protect the bolt holes and mask the wheel up

ah thats good then, thanks again i will ask at work tomoz see if they can weld a bolt/nut on, failing that ill drill as i need it off by weds because im getting my clutch/flywheel fitted :D, and they'll need the pass front wheel off

V important you tell them to protect the wheels. It happened to my mam's old car, they got the nut out no problem but melted the area surrounding the nut on the alloy and it looked awful!!
