LOTS of masking!! used curved masking tape on the edges and the wrapped the rest of the spokes in low tack tape and paper... i painted the spokes first and then waited for a few days for the paint to set, then masked off the spokes for the blue.... then waited again and the whole thing got several coats of laquer
its not bad for me as i have normally have zero patience lol....

I had nimrods on my old car and always wanted to spray the spokes different colours to the dish.. Looks good mate

Lol least you havent had 2 people pm'ing you asking how i got the car how it is as they want to do the exact same
As for the original topic i think they have come out ace for someone who has done themself, i wouldnt of been able to so nice work
