hi people just a question on my mrs 206 she has a 1.4 hdi and from time to time when drivimg and you put your foot harder on the accelarator the revs go reallly high the only way i can describe it is like your driving and you slowly put your foot on the cluch and it revs hope this is a good enough description any hepl will be good apart from that the car drives perfect by the way gear changes fine and everything

sounds like clutch slip to me aswell tbh. if you stop put the handbrake on and put it in say 4th then slowly lift your foot of the clutch if it is on the way out it will slip if it stalls then it sounds ok and you have another fault.

Yea clutch happened to me. Get it fixed asap as i left mine and when clutch went the fork went thru the plate and parts smashed into gearbox nd f****d it to. So lost a clutch nd gearbox that day :,(
