I recently saw on a YouTube video that there is a large star key that I may need to remove my axle. Can someone confirm this???

I wouldn't call it a special tool You don't have to do this but it's what I did, just use a normal socket that fits hammer it on and it will work.

nope my toolkit from halfords did the job! Only took 25 mins too!

I thinks its an E17. Try not to ram a socket over the bolt head. I agree it might work , but if the bolts are in solid, as most are, youll round it off and then you really are in poo street. I know.... I did it. Luckily I got away with it after getting correct E Socket but i shat my self when I span the head off. SO get the correct one...its really worth it.
