Right tonight i went to pick up a 206 HDI 90 that i won on ebay, so did the checks you do and befor i handed over the cash i went for a test drive
As i went for a test drive the guy said the gearbox mount has gone all of a sudden so went for a drive anyway
on the test drive pulling off in 1st gear only is major major viabration and it shakes the whole car very bad but after that it drives mint, so after haggling i ended getting 300 quid of the car in the end
Now what im worried about is it could not be the mount and be a flywheel? but as ive had clutch judder in my old 180 and that was nothing compared to this
im just worried i could of been done over and its not the gearbox mount
but i dont think its the clucth because its had a new one 10 months ago
its they any tests i can do to rule out the flywheel?
cheers

Press the clutch down in and slowly lift it up and feel for some vibrations through the pedal

Wouldnt that just test the pressure plate, they is a little TBH but the viabration is just unreal

From what you've said you'll be needing a new dual mass flywheel so might as well do everything else at the same time to be safe.
Dad had the same problem in first on his Jag and found it was his dual mass, s**t thing is that he couldn't convert to the single mass. Possibly be able to with the 206 which will cost a hell of a lot less from looking at prices.

hmm whenever ive replaced a clutch thats had judder ive done that test t feel vibration ive found the flywheel to be warped on nearly every one "/, just got them skimmed and it solved the problem unless it was dual mass flyweheel which you cant skim
