so i will start by saying that i am new to cars and this forum. as soon as i started looking around this site i imediatly became interested in modding cars so for now i thought i would start out small before getting in too deep :). i have been meaning put this up for a while but every time i decide to do it i end up doing something new and just saying i will wait until that part is on.

so this is my car how i got it its a 2006 206 1.4

i then relised that some modding isnt cheap so started out on the little thing and work my way up when i become more confident in taking my car appart.

i bought a pair of rear black LED light

got them on rather easy Very Happy

i bought a set of mud-flaps that sat around my house for a few months before i got round to putting them on.

nearing the end of the month i decided to buy new wiper blades some Aerotwins

so i ordered a set of Zunesport grills but unfortunately it would be 4 weeks until they came Sad

i then decided i wanted new alloy wheels. was originaly looking for a set or 17" vortexes but was finding it hard to find some so very few and some of the good ones i found were collection only Sad and i am stuck all the way up here in Scotland.

finally decided to get myself a set of Nims instead managed to pick up a pair for cheap but they had no tyres so had to wait untill end of month to afford some.

finally end of month came and got some tyres.

with alloys on i revived a phone call from zunesport on Friday saying that my grills were ready and will be here on Monday.

so i rushed home from work like an excited child to get tinkering with it.
NOTE: it took me from when i got home 6ish untill about 9 oclock to do it. gona say its cuz was my first time haha :L

out with the old and in with the new.

starting to get dark now

but finally on. now just to put bumper back on.

and finished

need to take more pictured now that its day as i was in a rush this morning.

my next things i am doing is

fitting a set of Morettes
de badging the rear
Tinting the back 3 windows
Getting gloss black mirrors
and LED rear fod light and 3rd break light.

Don't have to go ultra low. I have a lot of bumps here, and I'm lowered 30 at the back and the front to match

Looking good buddy!
A black bonnet would go well with the tints, mirrors and wheels...I reckon anyways..

Looks nice. I like the black nims. I would only do your spoiler black of your planning on spraying your roof black. Otherwise I think it will look like you just stuck it on and haven't repainted it. In my opinion anyway.

I agree needs lowering. You don't have to drop it much to make a difference. 30mm will probably be ok for speed bumps. Mine is about 60mm and I have a splitter on the front. I don't have many problems with speed bumps. Only my exhaust clamps catch now and again.

Looks like your going for the black silver theme like me. I'm after some of those lights when funds permit. Lol.

right so i had big plans this weekend. was going to fit some morettes paint callipers and give my car a nice clean Smile

i finally decided to paint my callipers and being no artist the last time i picked up a paint brush was my 3rd year in secondary school in art so i though i would no doubt make a mess of it.

but hey i managed to get them painted fine with very little mess

in between coat were drying i thought i would put in my new lights Smile

but had a few problems and not had time to fix it so i still have my crystals on ATM as was going to do it last night but started raining Sad s**t Scottish weather.
