Curious to know if there was slight differences between 180's in terms of the interior?
My brother popped round to have a look at my 180 and noticed the grilles for the tweeters were much larger than on his but also the roof lining and a-pillars on mine is of a more softer fabric whereas my brothers a-pillars are just plastic and his roof lining is not as appealing
Think i've made him jealous

Don't think there were any real noticeable difference possibly the materials changed in the newer models because of availability?
My 04 seems to be the same as my 03 but there was a 5 yr gap between ownerships and a 3 cars including a Focus ST3 to haze the memory...
Will take a look when my car returns from the garage

I know what you mean, mine is an 04 and sounds the same as yours.
I looked at another one beforehand (on a private plate but was an 03 iirc) and had noticed the differences you pointed out once i got mine home.
Whether it is actually age related or what i have no idea though.

Non curtain airbag 180s (possibly only 03 models) will have the standard A / B / C pillars but the ones that do will have the A pillars wrapped in fabric, B and C pillar sort of smoother plastic

Pretty sure my old 180 had a ridic amount of airbags as that's what the guy at car giant kept waffling on about! That was an 04 plate... Hope my 03 plate isn't different

Think it's white plastic ... Not got the car back yet from the partial respray lol
Errrr I'd love a Scooby but not the running costs decided 535d or 530d for a cruiser and either keep the 180 til it dies or sell it, won't be for a while yet anyways haha.
I hope it has curtain air bags didn't realise there was a difference in safety spec :s guess if anything it will be lighter without them lol!!
